Fishing Boats in Comox, B. C. - 2003 Oil on canvas, 24" x 24" Earlier this year, during a trip to the West Coast, I enjoyed looking at the boats in Comox harbour. This geometric architecture of riggings and antennae, added to the masses of the hulls themselves, played nicely against the moving organic shapes of the sky and water. Denis Larouche |
