Buy fish
and seafood direct from the fishermen at the Comox Harbour Marina! When the
fishing boats come in, it's time to feast on the large variety of species
available from the British Columbia cool ocean waters. You can meet the
fishermen and their families, and see the fishing gear that really works.
Quality of the catch is given the highest priority.
A special area has been set aside for Dockside Sales, which is located on the East side of the Comox Harbour Fisherman's Wharf, and daily sales information is available on a recording by phoning (250) 339-6041. A sign at the head of the wharf also displays "Today's Catch". Free convenient parking spaces are available to the public for buying fish.
Fish Sales is popular attraction
One of the most popular attraction at our top-notch
harbour is the Dockside Sales Area. Office staff receives many calls everyday
from the general public (as far away as Parksville & Port Alberni) looking for
fresh or frozen seafood.
The
newly opened prawn fishery has "E" docks full of people by 4 every day (in
season), & the halibut vessels sell out so fast the crews never get time for a
coffee break. Salmon and cod are also available (in season) and are also very
popular items. Louis, a local crab fisherman, has started to sell live crab this

Fishermen: we need to attract more vessels to our dock sales area. We cannot begin to fill the demand and it is a very rewarding experience to supply your neighbors, friends and community with a portion of your catch! Consider selling fish a day or two at the dock this season-the cost is only $15.00 per day ( $150 per season for the vessels who sell on a regular basis throughout the year). More info? Call us.
