In 2005, it was VERY windy the day the sailors left Comox. Here's a breezy photo when they were passing Goose Spit, with Sandy Island (also known as Tree Island) and Denman Island in the background.

Boats from the "Around Vancouver Island Sailing Race" stopped in Comox for an overnight rest in 2003. The race happens every two years...
